Time Keeping
Is it hard? No.
So why, oh why must people insist on being late all the time. My mum always told me, “its better to be 5 minutes early than 5 minutes late” and that’s something that I tend to live by.
But it seems I’m the only one, and in today’s society, it seems that it is acceptable to turn up late if you are meant to be meeting someone, have an appointment, a date etc etc.
And most of the time, you don’t even get an apology and they don’t care that you have been waiting for them for ages. How hard is it to be ready on time, you have a watch - use it!
If you need to drive or use public transit, allow a little time, just in case… just in case something happens, like traffic or a minor delay.
And if you are gonna be late, use your friggin mobile phone and let the peron your meeting know your gonna be late. Try and make sure you tell them as soon as possible, so they can have a little time to themselves. Dont tell them 5 minutes before you meet them that your gonna be 30 mins delayed, cos if there like me, there already waiting for you!!
Keep it in mind, and stop being selfish.
Agree that is super frustrating. If I am meeting someone that I know is typically late I often call them at about the time they should be leaving to meet me, just to give them a hurry up.
