I Like To Rant

There bloody every where…

No matter where you go in the UK there are always Road works on every motor way, every day of the year.

But the stupid thing is, there is never any work being done. You just get a group of cones and road signs, with bits of dug up road, but there never seems to be any improvement to the roads.

 There never seems to be anyone doing any work ever. They just come along, dig up the road, but down some signs and cones and then move on to the next road to dig up.

Occasionally they’ll even put up some temporary traffic lights to p*ss us off even more.

The reason for most Road works, aren’t because the roads need improving, its because the council has so much money to spend each year, and if they don’t spend it, they get less money the next year. So they end up spending the money by digging up perfectly good roads, just to relay the surface, causing commotion in the process.

Here are 5 things that p*ssed me of this week that didn’t get a full Rant.

In no particular order:

1) Talking with Food in your mouth

Pack it up, its disgusting and not something I wanna see. Just finish eating and then say what you gotta say… IT AINT HARD!!

2) Drivers sitting in the middle lane

The middle lane is used for over taking people in the slow lane, so do just that. I HATE it when cars just cruise along in the middle lane when they aint over taking. And if you bib or flash them there completely oblivious to you. ARRRGH

3) The “Last Stand” perk on COD4

For those who don’t play the game wont have a clue what im on about, but its fcuking bullsh*t when you kill someone on COD4 and they have “Last Stand” and then one of your team mates finishes them off and you only get 2 points!!

4) People that swear randomly

One thing I cant stand is when people swear randomly in a conversation when it is entirely not needed. Not sure if they think they sound tuff or cool, but they don’t.. They sound pathetic. Why swear looser, you don’t need to!!

5) TXT abbreviations

OMG, I CNT STND IT!!! How hard is it to write a proper word. News reports have recently shown that people are failing exams because of the way they write. DERRR how stupid have you got to be to write in txt form when doing a exam, dumb ass’s!!

Sounds like an odd thing to Rant about, but I get so p*ssed of on a frequent basis just walking down the street.

Im not sure if it’s the new way to be hip or something, but people CANT walk straight now a days. They seem to walk all over the sidewalk zig zagging from right to left. Making it impossible to move past them…. Unless you barch them!!

The common cause for this crazy behaviour seems to be the mobile phone. When people are on the phone, it is impossible for them to walk in a straight line. They also become oblivious to everyone around them and think they are the only person in a 5 mile radius.

It isn’t always a mobile phone that causes this behaviour, some people just seem to be born like it. They have no perception of where they are and who is around them. They’ll stop for no reason and give no warning of what they are going to do, causing me to walk into them. Or as im about to over take them they’ll suddenly change there path and walk in front of me.

This really does annoy me, and I think I may be the only one!?!?
