I Like To Rant

What’s with the world now a days, I mean, why are so many people so freakin angry… all the time?

If you go on to YouTube and watch some videos you can guarantee to have dickheads posting stupid comments about a decent video.

Comments are usually Racist, Homophobic, silly name calling or just plain hateful… for no reason.

How sad have you got to be to go out of your way and start sending people abusive messages? Its all over the web, go into a forum or a Blog and you get people who take time out of there day just to be abusive to people, its fcuking sad.

Well yesterday, I Like To Rant.Com received some comments and messages by a couple of these losers, people who have nothing better to do with there day than to go on various websites and start sending sh*t.

I mentioned yesterday that I went on a forum and p*ssed of a Mod. In my opinion I did nothing wrong, here’s what happened:

So after starting up this website I began reading tips and advice on how to drive traffic to a new website, I.e., submitting articles to Digg and Stumbleupon, visiting similar Blogs and getting involved - leaving comments with links etc, visiting forums joining the discussion etc.

So I decided to Google “Rant Forum”, one of the results was for a Skyline Owners website which had a forum about Skyline cars. However Google found me a sub-section of the main Forum, which was for Rants. So I checked it out and it looked as if this Rant Forum was pretty popular and there were all kinds of Rants going on.

So I signed up to the forum, added a signature to my posts “if you like to Rant, check out this Rant website” - nothing wrong with that.

I started getting involved in the discussions, leaving my views etc and started my own thread, I posted my Rant on Cold Callers, this thread turned into a good discussion and it appeared that the users valued my Rant and started commenting on what I had to say.

So the next day I started a new thread, and posted my Traffic Lights Rant, and then this Mod starts giving me sh*t and becomes a real dick about things and then the Administrator gets involved, bans my account, deletes my signature, edits my posts and changes my user name.

As you can see I was diplomatic about it all, I didn’t swear I didn’t get angry, I did what they asked and removed my link in my signature.

I didn’t once spam there forum or make any unnecessary posts, I didn’t once say “Come see my website, Come see my website” etc. If I did I could understand them getting angry, but I was just getting involved in the conversations and adding my views and Rants, I.e. doing what you are meant to do in Forums.

As the general theme of the forum was Skylines, I honestly didn’t think there would be a problem me posting a link to a Rant website, im not competition for them, its not like that once there users come to my site they are going to stop visiting there site - how narrow minded are they!!!

So while that was going on I wrote my Rant about Forum Moderators, and after an hour or so I received the following angry comment:

“You come onto a site for Skyline Owners and start posting in a sub-section of a general and start sh*t to promote this piece of sh*t, ad infested, waste of bandwidth.

Quote “When I start my forum for this site (which will be soon), im not going to be a dick like most mods on the net, im going to let my users get on with things and enjoy what the forum was set up for!’

In that case this is my rant. Get fucked!”

Hmmm, angry or what… in fact it aint a bad Rant, he did well. But if you review the forum thread, I didn’t start any “sh*t”, they did.

A couple hours later, one of there users trys and submits there own Rants for my site:

“Stupid Spamming Leaching Websites

like this one, which log into forums which pay good money attracting
sponsors and advertisers, and post up links and adverts for their stupid F*cking site.

pay for your advertising you lazy c*nts!”

Again, that’s one hell of a Rant, worthy of a mention on I Like To Rant.Com. But if they feel so strongly about this site, why bother going out of there way just to send hateful messages, my theory is this:

They have small cocks and have substituted the fact that they have small cocks by going out and buying a Skyline.

They really have no life. They probably don’t drive there Skyline and spend there day washing there car and posting sh*t on the Internet. If you take a peek at there site, you will see that most users of the Forum have between 3000 - 7000 posts EACH!! Dam that is sad. They should kinda get out more

Its possible that many users probably don’t have a car, and spend there time online using there alter ego names like “Blow Me”, making up a virtual life for themselves, because there real life sucks so much. So much so that they have to inflict hatred on people over the Internet.

It’s a shame that the Internet is becoming like this, there is so much more to it than looking at porn and getting aggressive at people.Thankfully its just a small minority of people that have to throw there virtual weight around and try and make themselves sounds so big by using abusive words.
